Purple Hills and Point Reyes Headlands 2020 - oil painting by Kathleen Goodwin

The original painting is 68” x 43”. I was returning from Tomales Bay at dusk and saw the setting sun light up the farm roads. I stopped and took a photograph. I was done a series of paintings from the image, this one being the most abstract. I simplified the composition concentrating on the interaction of the hills and farm roads.

All prints are signed, 18” and larger prints are titled and numbered.
