100% Pure Point Reyes
I would love to turn you on to Point Reyes! These photographs show amazing places, and carefully chosen moments of time. After 40 years in the darkroom, I mostly print digitally with an archival Canon printer, using the highest quality papers and inks. My prints are more expressive now. I can do more with contrast and texture, while reducing imperfections. The illusion that photographs are a window depends on clarity It takes a lot of field work to get the right image, and much follow-through to get great prints, but I still love it. - Richard Blair
Near the bottom of Limantour Road there is a hidden meadow. In the afternoon, the sun back lights the bay trees, which are festooned with hanging lichen. Shot with a 4x5” film view camera with a wide angle lens.
