I painted a small version of this painting (12 × 24”) on location. This is a view of Drakes Bay from the approach to Limantour Beach. Inspired by the sunset, I took liberties with the color. I later painted a larger canvas in the studio which is featured on the website. The bigger version recently sold. Prints are available.
