Tim Holton, who made this frame, is working in the arts and crafts tradition. In those times camera film was very slow, leading to long exposures. I noticed that while the falls were booming, the trees were still - no wind. I shot the scene with a long exposure. thus making this photo a homage to Carlton Watkins, a great 19th century landscape photographer. (SOLD)
