Photographed at Kehoe Beach, these falcons were having a bird romance. The male had just brought a gift - prey he had caught - to the female and then suddenly they mated. Kathleen and I both photographed them, and while I was lucky to have clicked the shutter, she also worked hard on the setup, a very heavy lens and tripod.
