These framed pieces are in my studio in Inverness, California, and are ready to purchase. The custom arts and crafts frames were made by Holton Studio Frame-makers in Berkeley and by Ivan Stern. a former neighbor who lived next door to me in Inverness. They all have thick, archival cotton mats and mounts; and are framed with picture glass. All of the images in this section are available as signed prints, which I can send in a sturdy tube, to be framed as you choose. (The pictures marked sold are the framed versions) I made all these prints in my studio (or darkroom), except the Yosemite Lithograph, which was made at Magnolia Editions, a print workshop in Oakland, which is famed for it’s work and its artist clients.
It was a very low tide and the rocks which are a little off shore were accessible so I was able to get in position to photograph this bird. IThe photograph reminds me of a natural history museum exhibit, which I love to pretend that I can step into.
