Hiking from Tuolumne Meadows along the Tuolumne river, I went on the river’s south side, so I was not on the main trail to Glen Aulin. There are beautiful granite rock outcroppings from which one can view the rapids. The sun creates dazzling reflections in the afternoon, and this photograph reveals them.

Technical Info:

Shot with a Fuji 6x9cm. film camera, a 65mm lens, a tripod and black and white film. The negative was scanned with a wet mount system. The image was adjusted in photoshop for contrast, and burned and dodged. The image was then printed on an archival Canon Printer on archival paper.
