Spring Flood, Bridalveil Falls Stream, 1969
There were big floods in 1969 during the spring run off, and Bridalveil Falls was going powerfully. It was misting so much that I could not risk soaking my camera. The best photograph was this one of the outlet stream. You can see the mist in the background. The water seems alive during this time In Yosemite.
Photographed with a Hasselbad film camera, a normal lens, a tripod and black and white film. The negative was scanned with a wet mount system. The image was adjusted in photoshop for contrast, and burned and dodged. The image was then printed on an archival Canon Printer on archival paper.
